Senate Briefing
The RI Senate hosted a briefing on the RI Consent Decree on 2/25/16.
The Briefing was attended by Health and Human Services and Finance Committee members, individual with disabilities, service providers, advocates and representatives form the Administration.
Speakers included Dr. Charles Mosley, District Court Monitor for the Consent Decree and Dr. Anthony Antosh, Director for the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities at Rhode Island College.

CPNRI is hosting a monthly Leadership Series for members!
Each month, CPNRI is providing a monthly training to member staff who are interested in networking, developing their leadership skills and bringing back information to share on an array of management and clinical topics. All session are offered at CPN and are free of charge!

Disability Employment Month
CPN in partnership with the Providence Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 2015 Employment Expo on October 29th. This event will bring together business owners from around the state on the topic of employing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Please join us from 8:30 - 10:00 at the East Greenwich campus of the New England Institute of Technology.

Gov. Gina Raimondo presented CPNRI with a gubernatorial proclamation in recognition of the DD Awareness Day. Donna Martin, the executive director of CPNRI, thanks the honorees for their service to the developmentally disabled community.
Following the ceremony, there was a reception in the Rotunda to showcase individual success stories of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
